Become a patron
today and help us
reach more children

The more our community grows, the more children we can reach with our positive message. Our goal is to never let financial restrictions be a barrier and to be able to offer our talks for free to schools who need them.

Your support as a valued patron will keep the memory of this incredible generation alive for years to come whilst also offering a great example to the children of today. With all of the challenges and pressures that they face, who better to guide them through and shine a light on the path ahead?

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), reinvesting in the next generation is at the heart of our very constitution. We are a social enterprise whose number one goal is positive impact

Why support us?

By sharing incredible stories from the past, we inspire children to find inner strength and to believe that anything is possible but we are only able to do this work because of the amazing community who support our mission.

As the voices of that generation get quieter and their exploits are consigned to a heroic chapter in history, it’s more important than ever before that their voices are still heard. We’re committed to sharing the story of The Battle of Britain far and wide in our primary talks, ‘Rise to the Challenge’. We’re also passionate about sharing the wider story of many incredible folk who lived through World War Two in our secondary school talks, ‘Onwards and Upwards’.

Our work in schools is complemented by our pledge to have a positive and empowering online presence and to work with students on a weekly basis in our ground-breaking coaching programme. Our History Coach YouTube content is a key channel for us to reach a wider audience of young people looking for positive role models and our coaching is available in groups and for individuals.

These tales of duty, courage, resilience, unity and action offer such a great example to a generation of young people who have grown up in the shadow of a pandemic and who have the potential of an environmental crisis looming large on their horizons.

Our talks share inspirational stories of human achievement with the potential to have a huge and positive influence. These are examples of a generation who worked together to achieve something incredible and who left a legacy to be proud of. These stories just have to be told.

All the ways
you can help

Your support can make a real difference to the next generation. We are so grateful to the community who have rallied around the project but the fact remains that we are only at the start line. There is so much work to be done and we’d love you to join this most epic of teams.

What are the different ways you can support our work?

Spread
the word

We are firm believers that you’ll never truly know the difference that you are making and also, you never know who’s listening.

One of the biggest ways you can show your support is to help us spread this positive message far and wide. Whether it be following us on our socials or by subscribing to our YouTube channel ‘The History Coach’ you can make a big difference to the number of young people who get to see our epic stories.

Visit your
child's school

Word of mouth is everything. If you believe in this mission and think an energy fuelled visit from the project would benefit your child’s school then you could support our work by sharing our e-brochures! Whether you know a child who is in primary education or secondary education we have an empowering talk ready and waiting to share with them and their peers.

book

If you know a child aged between 11-18 who has an interest in history, people, or who has challenges in their lives that they are rising to, then this book could make a real difference.

‘Rise to the Challenge’ tells the story of the Battle of Britain generation and aims to share the many life-changing lessons that can be found from that unique time. This is history and personal development
